You know how the beginning of Spring is awkward?

As in "I want to wear a sweater but I also want to wear cutoffs and maybe a boot on one foot and a sandal on the other because the weather is volatile right now and I'm unsure what to do about it."

^^^ My thoughts exactly.

March Madness has begun!!! I have Kansas winning one of my brackets and Virginia winning the other. My mom is originally from Charlottesville so #represent. Who's in your bracket?

Did you catch my post on prom/formal dresses from earlier this week? I'm going to do another post next week with a lower price point to accommodate my college crowd who needs an inexpensive but adorable dress for spring formal.

As the election heats up and the candidates really set their sights on landing the nomination, I found this open letter to Donald Trump from Humans of New York creator Brandon Stanton to be a very accurate representation of how I feel about him as a presidential candidate. I will gladly credit Mr. Trump as an exceptional businessman in that he was able to make gobs of money, but I fear for our nation if he manages to become the Commander in Chief.

Speaking of politics, it's okay, Marco. Frank Underwood lost his home state too.

Coming back from a very relaxing spring break has been an adjustment. How come it's so easy to get into a sleep-all-day-up-all-night routine and such a struggle to switch to the opposite? I had a very low-key break. I was really worn out from the first half of the semester and it was so nice to any out with my family, my dogs (!!!), and cable.

This week is a lot of get-back-in-the-groove type work, not too bad. I'm definitely looking forward to celebrating St. Patrick's day though. I'm about 90% sure I'm about 90% Scotch-Irish so...

PS - my last name means "of the North"

Do you have any fun plans?
