Link Love + Lowdown

It's Thursday, you know what that means!

(...if you don't it's cool. It's Link Love + Lowdown time, a weekly roundup of my favorite products, articles, and general Internet happenings as well as a brief state of the union on my life)

Samantha was sweet enough to let me guest post on her blog! As January comes to a close, I know I'm not the only one that finds themselves slipping on their 2016 resolutions. Check out my tips for staying with your resolutions.

Go show my mom's new website some love! It was designed by yours truly (...and Squarespace. They helped haha) so go check it out! I designed her logo as well and love how it turned out.

The women of Delta Gamma at Ohio University have created a fantastic campaign about Greek stereotypes and how wrong they are. Not only was this a confidence booster for me after a rough week, but it was downright inspiring too.

I am literally living and breathing by my Emily Ley daily planner. Last year was the first year I had a daily planner, and it has been the single best investment I've ever made. I can't reiterate how helpful having something like that is to both my productivity and my sanity.

Definitely going to be using these carry-on packing tips next weekend when I go to Orlando for a conference! (PS if any of you KD ladies are going to be there, email me! I want to meet you!) I'm a serial over-packer and will definitely struggle stuffing everything in one bag...

Like I mentioned in yesterday's post, I've been having a hard time getting my photos to maintain the same clarity and resolution that they do when they're in Lightroom. I've upped the resolution in their export mode, and they still aren't looking the way I'd like. If any of you have suggestions they would be greatly appreciated!

In other news, I think I'm finally going to have a calm day today. Hopefully, that is! I feel like I've been going non-stop since break ended, and it's starting to catch up with me a bit (fatigue, skin breaking out, etc), so hopefully the rest of this week will be mild and restful! I had a huge accounting quiz yesterday (at Rhodes you have to take two semesters of accounting - financial and then cost), and it was...well... not fun. YAY accounting, right? Just trying to make it into a marketing class here...

Also, it was my big's 21st last week! I had such a fun weekend celebrating her with everybody, and am literally so glad she's my big. I'm definitely starting to realize how grateful I am for my friends, as we all start considering going abroad either in the fall or next spring, and I don't want to be apart from any of them! It's fairly common for people to go abroad for a semester at Rhodes, and I feel like I'm going to miss so many people... but that's just me worrying about the future, which I'm also trying to remember never gets me anywhere.

How is your week going?
