Link Love + Lowdown

Y'all. WE MADE IT. Finals are over!

Cue that Hallelujah Chorus, please!

I'm utterly exhausted but really proud of myself. I know that my grades are going to be a lot better than they were last year, and I'm actually excited for grades to come out next week! (nerd alert, am I right?) I drove home yesterday and am certainly spending the day coming back to life (aka napping) before some of my friends come in town this weekend!

Link Love //

Rashida Jones & Jimmy Fallon Sing Pop Songs with Holiday Lyrics // I keep watching this and I can't help but laugh out loud every single time. I'm not really a fan of the song "Downtown" and I love how they incorporated it.

Christmas Gift Cutoff Dates // Mackenzie wrote a super helpful post today, definitely check it out!

One of my all-time favorite sports bras is on sale for under $20 right now - this NEVER happens!

Michael Buble's Christmas Album // I've been listening to this non-stop for two weeks! It's the perfect mix of upbeat and soothing, and to be completely honest, I made myself listen to it yesterday when I was driving because I was going nuts about the traffic! Since when is it ok for two eighteen-wheelers to drive up besides each other for miles on end?!

MM Gift Guides // Before the holidays get here (9 days, people!) make sure you have the perfect gift for everyone on your list.

Lowdown //

For the past two weeks, I've been more or less locked in the library. Although I gave up a lot of fun nights out, I'm really proud of myself for knowing how much time I needed to study and for giving it to myself. I'm also proud of myself for sticking to my finals survival guide, and I felt prepared for every single test I took and satisfied with every paper I turned in.

Since the last Link Love + Lowdown post, honestly, the highlights of my week included sleeping when I could, finally figuring out how to get cable on my TV at school, and consuming as much Chinese food as my wallet would allow. I'm really looking forward to relaxing for the next few weeks and squeezing in a fun jaunt to Colorado too! Hope y'all survive your exams and get home to relax soon!

  1. Congrats on finishing finals, and enjoy your winter break! It was so weird to not have that two weeks of being locked up in the library, but I can assure you that there is a life post-graduate that doesn't include 8 cups of coffee per day and no sleep!

    1. Thank you so much! I'm certainly looking forward to sleeping in for the next few weeks though. Merry Christmas!

Thoughts? I want to read them!
