Coral + Turquoise

I took these photos about 2 months ago and had no idea that I never actually posted them! Who wants to create a coffee delivery service?!

...but really though can I call dibs on making that a thing?

This bridge. I see this from the interstate and I automatically think, "home." The silhouette of this bridge is iconic to Chattanoogans, and is our version of the "Hollywood" sign. It's the beckoning symbol that says, "you're here, you're home!" to me, and I have countless memories on that bridge, from almost dropping my beloved childhood doll in the river to my first real date.

And after everything that's happened here in Chattanooga the past week, this place has floored me with how the people have come together to deal with such a tragedy as a community and to mourn those who have left this earth together.

I will write more on this tragedy later this week. As a community, we are still processing everything that has happened and figuring out how to deal with something as scary as this. But for today, let's remember that there is always a silver lining, even on the darkest of storm clouds.

  11. You're always so classy and put together..I love this combo on you. I can't imagine what the community is going through. My husband is military and it makes me sick to think about those men who lost their lives. So unfair. God Bless all of them and their families, and your entire community.

    1. Oh my goodness, I bet a tragedy like this hits so much closer to home for you. It's a pretty freaky thing, but I am already in awe of how everybody is supporting our community and praying for us! Much love.

  18. I know what you mean about knowing where home is and just FEELING it. I currently live only an hour away from where I grew up and whenever I get home I always feel nostalgic.
