5 Things I Wish I Hadn't Brought to College

We all have those things. The ones we know we shouldn't have brought but we did anyways. The ones that we wish we never owned or thought were good ideas to bring in the first place? Yep, here are 5 of mine:

One // Cups
I brought way too many and was then given a bunch during big/little week. I plan on taking several home over thanksgiving!

Mug | Sheets | Duvet Cover

Two // Blender
I can't figure out how to use it and it's just taking up space. I'm going to try to figure it out before Thanksgiving, but if I can't it's going home.

Three // T-shirts
My big is amazing and she seriously spoiled me during big/little week but I have no room for all of the t-shirts she gave me! I'm definitely taking tons and tons home soon.

Four // All of my hair products
While I was glad I brought all my makeup, I really do not need so many hair products! I rarely heat-style my hair anyways (#lazy), so I'll be downsizing on my collection.

Five // All of my shoes
For some reason, I decided to bring all of my shoes to college instead of cycling them through seasonally. They are taking up a lot of space in my closet and it can be tough to find the pair I want when I'm in a hurry!

Refresher - there are in fact some things that I'm glad I brought. Check out my top 5 here.

  2. I brought an adorable pink trash can to college, but our dorm supplied us with TWO trash cans! I loved the one I purchased, but I returned it (hello, beer money!). In Nebraska, it's only really warm enough to wear shorts and skirts through the first couple of weeks of September. When I realized it was too cold, I had to ship some of that summery stuff back home to make room for my jeans and pants. :-/ I also did not bring along snow boots and thought my wellies would suffice. Nope, definitely went to Target and bought the cheapest pair of actual snow boots I could find! xox Leigh
