A very merry Mama Christmas

A post on Sunday? This never happens!
A very merry mama Christmas

This one is for all of your moms out there! My mom is personally a tough one to shop for because the things she likes are usually a) for our house or b) WAY out of my budget.

The good news? All of the things in this gift guide are under $100, which means you might be able to get her 2 things!

Side note, the giant "p" at the bottom is the Pure Barre logo. They're having 45% off all merchandise online right now, so if your mom is into barre classes, even if they aren't necessarily Pure Barre, she might be interested in some of their clothes!

In terms of the Ray-Bans, you can find them under $100 depending on where you go to look. The ones above are from Bluefly. Everything else is pretty self-explanatory from there on out! Easy gifts that you know she'll love, and hey, since most everything is on sale either from Design Darling or Nordstrom, chances are you'll save a bundle if you hurry and order before the Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals end!

Remember that major Old Navy sale I was talking about on Tuesday? Well, I got a bunch of stuff, and today I wanted to show y'all a little more!

This sweater feels like it's made from a cloud. It is so soft, and I am seriously loving the color! I don't have anything else that's quite that shade of red and purple.

Benefit to having your roommate be your photographer - you're cracking up pretty much the entire time.

So let's chat about the skirt. It's called a scuba skirt. I was slightly skeptical because I'd never had anything that was this fabric, but I kinda like it! It's a little stretchy but at the same time a little snug. Another bonus is that J. Crew has skirts that look exactly like this, but Old Navy's are significantly cheaper!

Daily Planner {Holiday Edition}

Ah, the holidays. It's quite possibly the most stressful time of the year between having to run back and forth to stores, shops, and studying for finals.

How are you supposed to keep all that straight?! I found myself unable to keep track of where I was supposed to be and when, what I was blogging about that day, and when I had certain things coming up that I needed to prepare for.

I had seen multiple planners that help you schedule your day by the hour, and while they are positively adorable and functional, I didn't want to spend the money on one. (Especially since a good one is over $50!)

From there, I decided to make my own. This way I could have the sections I needed, with an hourly planner, a section for tests or projects, a to-do section that would make me prioritize the running list I have, and a section that would let me keep track of what gifts I have either sitting open in a thousand tabs on my computer or that I need to go buy in person.

By sharing this with you all I hope that it helps you organize your life at such a busy time of year. It's geared more towards students, but if you want a version without blogging or without assignments & assessments, let me know and I would be happy to make it for you!

You can download it by clicking here and selecting the download option at the top (next to the print tab!).

PS - Happy Thanksgiving to you and your families and friends! I hope you all have a restful and happy holiday.

Cozy with Marley Lilly

Can we all agree that there is no comfier outfit than leggings and a sweater?

A few weeks ago, I applied to be a part of Marley Lilly's Blogger Review Program. I've been a fan of theirs for quite some time, and I was so honored and excited to find out that I had been accepted.

Upon receiving the good news, I realized that I accidentally sent in my home address rather than my school address to receive the item! However, I will say that it was really nice coming home to a warm scarf. My mom sent me pictures of it and I couldn't wait to get my hands on it!

I wore it yesterday to a local coffee shop with my two best friends from high school. I hadn't seen my friend Lauren (blonde one) since August, and I hadn't seen Emily since I came home for fall break! It was so nice to catch up with them over lattes, and my Marley Lilly scarf was the perfect addition to my outfit. It kept me warm (we sat outside) and was just the right touch of personalization.

In addition, since the scarf is red, I can wear it to Rhodes events! My school colors have been blue all my life, so having something red to accessorize with is wonderful. (My scarf is in "Red Herringbone")
