WWIII is looming on the horizon.

Well, that's just my opinion, but hey, anything could happen. I'm sure most of you heard about Flight 17. If you haven't, let me fill you in - last week, Malaysian Airlines Flight 17 was shot down. Yes, shot.

The problem is that people are arguing over who shot the missile. The US is suspicious of Russia, the Ukraine is blatantly accusing Russia, and Russia is blaming pretty much everyone else.

Basically, Eastern Europe is not where you want to be right now.

Here's my take on what's going on over there - everyone needs to cool it. The UN needs to step in and guide the Ukraine to figuring out what kind of government it wants and if they proclaim that they want to be a part of Russia, a part of Russia they should be.

However, it's the he-said-she-said of it all that is making everything a mess. Following the collapse of Ukrainian government earlier this year, Russia decided they wanted in and opted to try and annex the smaller European country. The US got all hot and bothered and threw a "you can't do that" into the mix, heightening tensions between the three nations.

We know that Russia and well, everyone else, haven't exactly been best friends. There have always been tensions, be it before, during, or after the Cold War. However, that doesn't give either party involved the right to simply brush off Ukraine's opinions and take control or not take control or whatever is going on.

It is suspected that terrorists are responsible for the loss of the 298 lives, some of which include novelists, a college rower, and others. The point is that 298 people died last Thursday, and it could have been avoided.

The Ukrainian people have to be yelling, "допомога," or "help," amidst all of this, and who is there to answer?
