March Madness

In my opinion there are two types of March Madness - basketball & studies.

I know these things are completely different, but is it just me, or is every teacher piling on tests/quizzes/papers lately? I know that a lot of other students are struggling out there, so today I will share some of my tips to get through this very stressful time of year!

Stay organized!
I know you're probably rolling your eyes at this, but the only way to conquer the pre-Spring Break blues is to stay on top of your work! If your parents are anything like mine, if your grades drop significantly, whatever fun Spring Break plans you have might be taken away. See my school supply organization video for some tips!

Remain Positive
This is probably the toughest thing. I feel like I'm just dragging my feet just to pick up my backpack in the morning, but one thing that has helped me is having a huge calendar on my wall. I can see that I have things to look forward to (such as a fun trip to the beach!) and that I am going to make it!

This one is from Sugar Paper, and I picked it up at Target (I couldn't find it online, sorry!)!

Power through
Just remember that the best is yet to come. I know that after spring break for most schools, the year flies. Now is the time to keep your head down and just get all of your work done. You have to remind yourself that the work you are doing now will pay off in the long run. I have that written at the top of my planner pages and every time I go to write down another test, another homework assignment, another meeting, I see that phrase, and it helps.
